SIGNATURE SLIM is the high-end generation of the Signature family for outdoor fixed installation: only 76.2 mm deep – including the power box –, 28 kg/m² light and equipped with smart modules that store their own calibration data. The power box sits flush within the cabinet frame, so the wall can be mounted directly on the facade without a conventional steel substructure. Module, power box and cabinet are made of aluminium, service is possible from the front and the rear. Cabinets of 500 × 500, 500 × 750 and 500 × 1,000 mm make almost any facade, shop-window or DOOH surface buildable.

Optimised aluminium structure: 14.6 kg instead of 16.4 kg per cabinet. Easier to transport, faster to install, less load on facade and structure.
Smart modules with auto calibration
Each module stores its own ID, calibration coefficients and parameters and monitors temperature, voltage, communication, LED faults and operating hours. When a module is replaced, the receiving card uploads the calibration data automatically – no on-site recalibration. (Option)
Black-screen saving mode: −80 to −90 %
Low-power modules cut black-screen power consumption by approx. 80–90 % – ideal for DOOH schedules with pauses and night-time blanking.

Slimmer than ever: 76.2 mm total depth
The newly designed power box sits flush within the cabinet frame and no longer protrudes. The result: 76.2 mm total depth including the power box (P2.9: 81 mm) – 20 mm less than the previous generation. SIGNATURE SLIM can therefore be mounted directly on the wall without a steel substructure. WALED checks the substrate and fixing for each project.
Aluminium cabinet with integrated cooling
Modules and power box are made of robust aluminium. The cooling fins on the power box significantly enlarge the cooling surface – stable temperatures in continuous operation and a lifespan of over 100,000 hours.
Smart modules: swap instead of recalibrate
Optionally with smart modules: dedicated firmware manages module ID, calibration coefficients and parameters directly in the module. Temperature, voltage and communication are monitored, LED faults detected and operating hours logged. When a module is replaced, the receiving card uploads the calibration data automatically – the new module matches the picture instantly. Smart modules are an option at extra cost.
Front service – right on the wall
Modules and power box can be removed from the front – even when the wall sits flat on the facade or in a shop window with no rear access. That saves aerial platforms, time and cost on every service call.
Rear service with swivelling cable duct
Where there is room at the back, service is done from the rear. The cable duct swivels aside over 90°, a hook holds the cables – modules and power box are instantly accessible.

Which pitch suits your project depends on the viewing distance: as a rule of thumb, the pixel pitch in millimetres roughly equals the minimum viewing distance in metres. Does the SIGNATURE SLIM need a substructure?
Thanks to the power box sitting flush within the frame, the SIGNATURE SLIM is only 76.2 mm deep and can be mounted directly on the wall – in many cases a conventional steel substructure is not needed. Whether this is possible at a specific site depends on the substrate, wind load and wall condition. WALED checks this during project planning and designs a suitable substructure where required.
What do the smart modules with auto calibration offer?
The optional smart modules store their own calibration data. When a module is replaced, the receiving card transfers the calibration data automatically – the spare module matches the picture without on-site recalibration. In addition, the modules monitor temperature, voltage and communication, detect LED faults and log operating hours. Smart modules are an option at extra cost.
What protection rating does the SIGNATURE SLIM have?
